PFI Residential Program
Promising Futures began as a Residential Program seeking to provide a higher level of care and advocacy for adults with intellectual disabilities and their loved ones.
We have three Residential Homes located in San Diego County and are blessed to be able to provide not only a "living facility" but also a caring HOME to our 18 residential clients. These residential clients also attend our Center for Independent Achievement Day Program, which provides added consistency (and increased success!) to their behavioral and skill goals as the staffing is consistent from home to work! Our homelike settings also provide many natural opportunities to teach skills necessary for a mature adult.
We are so thankful for this opportunity to better serve our clients and their families, and trust that we will be able to continue to provide this service for many years to come!
Hillside Home
Lakeside CA
Our Lakeside home, or "Hillside" was PFI's first Residential home for the organization. The home of 6 of our clients, it is located on a quiet street in East County San Diego.
The Hillside Home is also the location of our PFI Garden where all clients have the opportunity to enjoy therapeutic outdoor programs as they learn to plant, prune, and harvest fruit and vegetables.
Agape Home,
El Cajon CA
Our Agape Home is on the edge of El Cajon and Santee in East County San Diego, located close to countless outing opportunities for our residents. The 6 clients at this home enjoy a lovely backyard, as well as the opportunity for peaceful walks in the quiet residential neighborhood. We are so blessed to able to serve our clients in this beautiful home!
Holly Oaks Home
Ramona CA
Our third Residential home is located in the more rural town of Ramona, 20 miles from El Cajon. It is surrounded by large estates with horses and open fields, creating a calm retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city suburbs. The 6 clients living here enjoy the quiet neighborhood and beautiful backyard. Our Holly Oaks home has been such a tremendous blessing to our clients, staff, and families!
